Six Sigma Green Belt – what is it?
Six Sigma Green Belt is a competency development program in process optimization and improvement, aimed at individuals striving to increase productivity and improve quality in their workplaces. Participants gain not only theoretical knowledge but, above all, practical skills they can apply to solving organizational problems. They also learn to use statistical tools, which are the foundation of data analytics in the Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Contrary to popular belief, Six Sigma isn’t limited to optimizing production processes but is applicable across a wide range of industries. Green Belt training is therefore aimed at anyone who wants to effectively identify, analyze, and eliminate quality issues. During the course, we demonstrate the power of the Green Belt Six Sigma methodology and teach them how to identify opportunities for process improvement in both manufacturing and service sectors.

What does Six Sigma Green Belt training look like?
Six Sigma Green Belt is a carefully structured training plan consisting of two three-day sessions, approximately four weeks apart. This break should be used for projects that are an integral part of the training. The first session of the course focuses on introducing participants to the basic Six Sigma principles and tools for process monitoring and control. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is introduced here, allowing participants to identify and understand sources of variation—the causes of problems that impact an organization’s process performance. The second session focuses on learning skills, which are the foundation of continuous improvement. The main topic here is Design of Experiments (DOE), which allows for accelerating and optimizing the learning process.
Six Sigma Green Belt training covers not only the aforementioned quality management techniques but also other non-statistical tools related to continuous improvement. The Green Belt program, like all of Six Sigma, focuses on how to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage by leveraging process and product knowledge.
Our Six Sigma Green Belt is based on Deming’s PDCA cycle. Looking for workshops guided by the DMAIC methodology? This training is still for you! The tools are universal, and we’ll show you how to incorporate them into the DMAIC model.
You may be asking yourself, “Is Green Belt worth it?” The answer lies in the numerous project successes of our graduates.
Previous completion of White Belt or Yellow Belt courses is not required to participate in this training.

Six Sigma Green Belt – what next?
Six Sigma Green Belt – training methodology
Our courses feature minimal lectures. To increase participant engagement and focus, we utilize overhead projectors, abandoning pre-made PowerPoint presentations. This increases interaction between the trainer and the audience, and all information is delivered in an accessible manner. Our training materials are also designed to enhance participant focus.
During the workshops, we place a strong emphasis on practical application of new knowledge and the acquisition of skills necessary for independent project management as part of Green Belt training. Between sessions, participants have several weeks to work on Six Sigma projects and implement the techniques they’ve learned in their organizations. This allows for ongoing practical application of theory, significantly increasing the effectiveness of the workshops. The entire Six Sigma Green Belt training is designed so that even those without a statistical background can apply the knowledge gained during the training.
The training fee includes brief email and phone consultations, not only during the workshops but also afterward. Trainers help participants define next steps and analyze data from a business perspective, as well as overcome obstacles they encounter in implementing their projects.
