Practical aspects of problem solving using the 8D method

introduction

8D method

For every complex problem, there will always be someone who will provide a cause, followed by a solution that is simple, obvious, and… usually incorrect. If we approach problem-solving based on the principle of “first come, first served,” it will be a long and winding road, likely ending in failure, frustration, and resentment for everyone – from engineers and managers to the customer themselves. Furthermore, we won’t see improvement until we change our mindset. Problem-solving must be a structured process – effectively and efficiently identifying the causes of discrepancies and then permanently eliminating their sources.

The training we offer demonstrates the importance of a systematic approach to problem-solving thanks to the 8D methodology, widely used in many industries. During the workshops, we teach not only what it is and its individual components, but above all, we focus on the skills necessary to complete the individual stages of the problem-solving process.
