Measurement Systems Analysis, MSA
Hope isn’t a strategy – show me the data!
Precise measurement is the foundation for making sound business decisions. If the data we base our actions on is unreliable, the entire analysis process becomes meaningless. MSA training is a practical workshop that will show you how to assess and improve the quality of measurement systems. You’ll learn what MSA is, how to perform it in practice, and why it’s essential for effective process improvement.

Measurement System Analysis
If we can’t express what we know about our process using numbers, then we don’t really know much about it. If we don’t know it, we can’t control it. We can only hope that our assumptions and theories will prove correct. Precise measurements are a fundamental requirement for evidence-based management, which is essential for continuous process and product improvement.
The training we offer demonstrates the importance of measurement systems and how to reliably evaluate them, ensuring that the data they provide can be used to make business decisions.
Who is this MSA training for?
This training is designed for those who rely on data in their work – especially quality engineers, measurement specialists, production leaders, and members of process optimization teams. If you use measurement data for quality control or decision-making, measurement system analysis should become a daily tool. Regardless of your level of expertise, MSA training will help you organize your knowledge and apply it in practice.
After completing the training, participants will be able to:
- plan data collection to answer specific questions about processes (sampling plans),
- analyze collected data in a practical, graphical and quantitative way,
- use Control Charts both passively (process monitoring) and actively (solving problems in the process),
- examine and evaluate the measurement system for both continuous and discrete data,
- perform all necessary analyses using Minitab.

Benefits of participating in the training
Participating in this training will give you confidence in the reliability of the data used in your analyses and decisions. You’ll learn how to evaluate your measurement system according to MSA standards, become familiar with tools like GRR, and master Minitab. This will give you a better understanding of where measurement errors may occur and how to eliminate them. The training will equip you with specific skills that can be immediately implemented in production, control, and analytical teams.
